Dieci posti da sogno dove poter rimanere incantati dal paesaggio e dalla natura circostante con un selezionato vino da degustare! Il Wine Enthusiast magazine di New York ha redatto una lista dei dieci posti più incantevoli al mondo che offrono il perfetto connubio. Nello stato di New York la Finger Lakes è la zona prediletta dai vini adatti a climi freddi, ospita un centinaio di aziende vinicole che coltivano soprattutto Riesling, ma anche Grüner Veltliner e Teroldego. Anche l’Italia è presente in questa top ten 2015 con il Piemonte, nella zona di Langhe, Roero e Monferrato, designate patrimonio UNESCO nel 2014, paradiso della buona enogastronomia, è patria di Barbera, Dolcetto, Nebbiolo e del Moscato d’Asti. Altra meta la Nuova Zelanda, Hawkes Bay, vini bianchi e rossi da uve Cabernet, Merlot, Sauvignon e Riesling, ma è lo Chardonnay il vitigno storico che fa da padrone in questa bellissima e soleggiata regione. Si prosegue poi con la Francia, Rhone Valley, belli i vigneti, bello il paesaggio, eccellenze vitivinicole, ampie e diversificate. Si torna poi negli Stati Uniti, questa volta ad Orlando, territorio in rapida evoluzione per quanto riguarda il settore enogastronomico. La Spagna è rappresentata in questa lista dalla Galizia, terra dei meravigliosi vini bianchi, che ha saputo farsi conoscere in tutto il mondo. Il clima umido che caratterizza la regione, territorialmente protesa verso l’Oceano Atlantico, favorisce la produzione di vini dall’ampio bouquet e dalla finezza aromatica notevole, uno tra tutti l’Albariño. Una zona da tempo nota ai veri enoappassionati che, negli ultimi anni, ha battuto regioni da sempre considerate mete predilette è Okanagan in Canada, il clima mite e soleggiato favorisce la coltivazione di uva dalla quale si ottengono magnifici vini. La Francia è ancora presente con la Valle della Loira, nota per i suoi castelli da favola ma è anche la regione dei grandi bianchi francesi: Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc e Melon de Bourgogne. Si torna poi negli U.S.A. nella area vocata alla viticoltura per eccellenza: la California, nella zona di Mendocino. Il clima fresco ha favorito la diffusione dello Chardonnay, del Pinot Nero e di una buona produzione di spumanti metodo classico, sono presenti, inoltre, alcune varietà italiane, fra cui il Fiano, Montepulciano e addirittura l’Arneis, il Gewürztraminer, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Bianco, Petite Syrah e Grenache Noir. Infine si affaccia la Croazia che con i resti di epoca romana, l’architettura impero veneziana, i pittoreschi borghi sul mare, la cucina e persino il vino, in particolare malvasia e moscati, dal carattere unico…viaggi imperdibili per enoappassionati giramondo!

The New York Wine Enthusiast magazine has compiled a list of the ten most enchanting places in the world that offer the perfect combination. In New York, Finger Lakes is the preferred area for wines suitable for cold climates, home to a hundred or so wineries that grow mainly Riesling, but also Grüner Veltliner and Teroldego. Italy is also present in this top ten 2015 with Piedmont, in the area of Langhe, Roero and Monferrato, designated UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2014, paradise of good food and wine, is home to Barbera, Dolcetto, Nebbiolo and Moscato d’ Asti. A long known area for real enoappassionate people who, in recent years, has beaten regions that have always been considered favorite destinations is Okanagan in Canada, the mild and sunny climate favours the cultivation of grapes from which magnificent wines are obtained.
